Cook up some style

JANUARY is the month to take advantage of kitchen retailers' sales but choosing the design and colour can be totally overwhelming, especially if you want a completely new look.

Most designers appear to think darker units teamed with natural materials such as stone, wood or marble-effect floors and worktops will be key in 2025.

"We expect homeowners to embrace a more atmospheric colour palette, introducing richer hues including reds, blacks and deep earth tones such as brown and burgundy," explains Al Bruce, founder of upmarket kitchen designers Olive & Barr.
