Civilians targeted in missile attacks

AT least four civilians were killed and dozens wounded as Russian hypersonic ballistic missiles blitzed the two largest cities in Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said, as well as the deaths, 92 people were injured in the capital Kyiv and in north-eastern Kharkiv when the air-launched Kinzhal weapons tore into city buildings yesterday.

He said Vladimir Putin's invaders had launched 170 Shahed drones and "dozens of missiles" since Sunday, mostly at civilian areas.

The 23ft Kh-47M2 Kinzhal has been rarely used by Russia due to limited stocks - and the £8million cost per missile.

The attacks created a desolate scene in Kyiv.
