Chancellor blamed for closure of private school in her area

A PRIVATE school in Rachel Reeves’ constituency is set to close, with parents blaming her economic policies.

Fulneck School, which will shut this summer after 272 years, said it found it “increasingly challenging to maintain financial viability” amid declining pupil numbers.

The school, which is in the Chancellor’s constituency of Leeds West and Pudsey, has around 300 day and boarding pupils aged three to 19, including 78 with special educational needs.
