Cattle grid row lands neighbour with £3,600 bill

A FINANCIER who locked horns with a neighbour over a cattle grid has been ordered to pay £3,600 after hitting his foe with a BMW.
Roger Taylor, 79, fell out with Derek Stein-Lear, 65, after the latter objected to the grid being filled with rubble on their private country estate in Lower Kinnerton, Cheshire.
Chester magistrates heard matters came to a head when Taylor drove towards Mr Stein-Lear and clipped his leg with his wing mirror as his neighbour shovelled out hardcore.
