A BRITON doused a US lawmaker in petrol and set fire to him over an alleged affair with his wife, a court has heard.
Shotsie Buck-Hayes, who grew up in South Molton, Devon, was held in Virginia for the attack on Danville councillor Lee Vogler in July.
