But her £3,350 linen dress from Monique Lhuillier wasn't the only one in a sunshine hue.

It was also the choice of Harriet Sperling, the NHS nurse girlfriend of Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips.

But there's only one thing to do when life gives you lemons - so when the two women stood side by side they appeared to have a good giggle about doubling up on the colour.
