Audit blasts £4bn EU spend on NGOS

THE European Union has "learned nothing" from Brexit, it was claimed, after it emerged the bloc has funnelled more than £4.1billion into independent groups in the last three years.

A European Court of Auditors report says the EC still cannot provide a reliable overview of which non-governmental organisations are receiving public money or how it is being used.
