Attack sinks Russian sub

A RUSSIAN submarine has been allegedly sunk by Ukraine who claim they also hit an airfield during the past 24 hours as a part of a surge in long-range attacks.

The Rostov-on-Don, a Kilo-class vessel from Vladimir Putin's Black Sea fleet, was targeted and attacked in the Crimean port of Sevastopol.

Meanwhile, an S-400 anti-aircraft missile complex in the Russianoccupied Crimean peninsula was also hit, according to a statement from Ukraine officials.

Four launchers of the Triumph air defence system were said to have been damaged. The hi-tech system was protecting the Kerch Strait Bridge, a key logistics and transport hub supplying Russian forces.
