Slot fears a backlash over 'special' rivalry
ARNE SLOT believes Manchester City will try to wreck Liverpool's title charge because the players feel the intense rivalry.
The Reds travel to the Etihad tomorrow looking for their first win in the league there since 2015, before Pep Guardiola had even arrived.
City are not in the title race this year but Reds head coach Slot still expects his league leaders to face a fired-up side.
He said: "This is not because Liverpool are coming, this is because of the rivalry of the last few years.
Players feel this. So their players will be at their best again. Because it's special.
