104 years in prison for drugs ring footballers

SIX who semi-professional footballers ran a £260million cocaine dealership have been jailed for up to 24 years each.

Their empire collapsed like a "house of cards" after police stopped Luke Skeete, 26, in a van containing eight kilos of class A drugs.

His arrest led to a 123kg haul of cocaine and 224kg of ketamine kept in lock-ups across West London.

But detectives believe Skeete and his gang of once potential Premier League stars planned to supply at least 2.7 tons of cocaine across the UK in just six months with a "sophisticated and professional business model".
