BUT OWNER CHANGES MIND ON DIRECTOR OF FOOTBALL ROLE
DOUG King has revealed that he does not intend to appoint a director of football to help with recruitment at Coventry City but has a clear “plan” for the January transfer window.
The club owner claimed last November just before he appointed Frank Lampard as the Sky Blues’ new ‘head coach; having sacked ‘manager’ Mark Robins, that the club were going down a different route in terms of the internal structure and job titles.
