'Memory cop' Andy celebrates catching 3,000 most-wanted

HE'S the Midland police officer known as the 'memory man' after catching 3,000 wanted criminals across the region.

PCSO Andy Pope, who works in West Midlands Police's Safer Travel team, has a special talent for remembering faces.

The 47-year-old picked out his 3,000th suspect earlier this year as he continues to be the scourge of those trying to avoid the law.
