Lamps has good things to say on relationship with King

FRANK Lampard has spoken about his relationship with 'hands-on' Coventry City owner Doug King.

The Sky Blues chief pulled the plug on Mark Robins' hugely successful reign at the club just under a year ago - a hugely unpopular decision at the time and replaced him with the England and Chelsea legend.

King, of course, has been vindicated after Lampard immediately sparked an upturn in fortunes, lifting the team from 17th place in the division to the playoffs. He's carried that feelgood factor, confidence and expert coaching through to this season where the club is currently sitting pretty at the top of the Championship after an unbeaten start that has produced a feast of goals for the fans and got them dreaming of a return to the Premier League.
