'Harrowing' attacks on hospital staff

STAFF at Nuneaton’s hospital have been subjected to ‘harrowing’ violence, board members were told.

Adam Carson, the acting chief executive of George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust (GEH), said that they have had to get the police involved in the incidents last month.

“We have seen some particularly harrowing examples last month of attacks on our staff," he told a joint board meeting.
