Four-some Blaze fly high to bounce back in style
Coventry Telegraph
|November 11, 2025
GOALS from Matthew Gleason, William Boysen, Sam Ruffin and Grant Mismash allowed the Genting Casino Coventry Blaze to bounce back from a Saturday night loss with a 4-1 victory over the Fife Flyers in the Elite League on Sunday.
Puck drop at the Skydome Arena followed a poignant Remembrance ceremony, observed impeccably by the Coventry crowd in a moment of reflection and respect.
With Dershahn Stewart making a second consecutive start, Blaze had their goaltender to thank for keeping the game level early. The Canadian made several key saves as Fife began with strong intent and early pressure.
The visitors' momentum was halted at 6.36 when Gleason won and converted a penalty shot to give Coventry the lead.
