A WEST Wales family has raised more than £12,000 for the Wales Air Ambulance in memory of their much-loved daughter Katie Worrell.

- IAN LEWIS

Katie, 25, and her boyfriend Adam Muskett, 27, tragically died in a road traffic collision last year.

The couple were involved in a crash between a black Jaguar and a black Ford Fiesta between Llanddowror and Red Roses in Carmarthenshire on Thursday, June 13.

The Wales Air Ambulance crew treated Katie at the scene and flew her to the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff, where she sadly passed away.

The family are extremely grateful to the charity for giving them hope and time with Katie following her accident. As a thank you and in memory of their daughter, they and friends climbed Pen y Fan.
