TRAFFIC officials in the Louis Trichardt area will be on full alert this festive season to ensure smooth traffic flow and safer roads.
Officials from various law enforcement agencies and medical personnel stand parade at the launch of the Makhado festive season road safety campaign.
This message was reinforced during the Arrive Alive Campaign held outside Louis Trichardt on December 10 at the N1 circle. Residents attending the launch were urged to remember the many lives lost during previous festive seasons.
The event included representatives from the police, the traffic department, the fire brigade, ambulance services, rural safety, private security companies and the Soutpansberg Town Watch.
