Training of Panchayat Secretaries in Nalgonda has been successful

Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India in collaboration with Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Dr. 'Centre of Excellence on Right to Information and Capacity Building for Gram Sabha' established by Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute, Telangana in partnership with Nalgonda Regional Panchayat Raj, Department of Rural Development, Telangana A two-day training program conducted for Panchayat Secretaries at the training center was successfully completed. District Panchayat Officer, Nalgonda K. Venkaiah was present as the chief guest.

The training program included training on the role of the Gram Sabha under the Telangana Pandayati Raj Act, 2018, promoting participatory governance for better local governance, Right to Information Act and promoting transparency through voluntary disclosure, strengthening Gram Sabhas in coordination with elected representatives, officials, self-help groups, civil society organizations, promoting women-friendly Gram Pandayatis, important laws related to women empowerment and child welfare.On the first day of the program
