Ration will be delivered to elderly, differently-abled people at their door steps : Nadendla

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar has made it clear that ration commodities will be delivered to the elderly people and the differently-abled people at their door steps.

The Minister held a meeting with the ration shop dealers association representatives here on Thursday. He directed the ration shop dealers to hand over the ration commodities to the elderly and disabled people by the 5th of every month at their doorsteps.

During the previous regime, door delivery of ration was not done, but the ration commodities used to be delivered at the end of the road. The incumbent government had decided to dispense with MDU vehicles in a bid to check the rice mafia, the Minister revealed.
