Priyank Kharge denies rift in Karnataka cabinet over caste survey report

Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Monday dismissed media reports of divisions within the state cabinet over the recently submitted caste survey report, clarifying that no minister had raised objections and emphasised the need for a scientific and informed public discourse.

"There are no differences within the cabinet on the caste survey," Kharge said, addressing the media. "None of my colleagues have protested or raised concerns about it. The caste survey is part of our manifesto. If people think it’s not scientific, there are ways to address it. But why jump to conclusions without knowing what's in it?"
