PM Modi arrives in Alberta for G7 Summit, says will emphasise priorities of Global South

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived today in Calgary, to participate in the G7 Summit, being hosted by Canada.

The PM said he will be meeting with world leaders at the Summit and also emphasise the priorities of the Global South.
In a post on X, the PM said:
“Landed in Calgary, Canada, to take part in the G7 Summit. Will be meeting various leaders at the Summit and sharing my thoughts on important global issues. Will also be emphasising the priorities of the Global South.”
He will participate in G7 discussions on energy security, infrastructure and investment among other issues.
The MEA spokesperson said in a post on X:
