New political alliance formed in J&K

Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Lone, Peoples Democratic Front headed by Hakeem Yasin and Justice Development Front, a faction of Jamaat Islami that contested last year Assembly pollstoday announced a new alliance-Peoples Alliance for Change.

The announcement of PAC was made by Lone during a press conference which was attended by the top leadership of the three parties.

Lone said the new alliance offers a viable alternative to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

"People of Jammu and Kashmir have endured immense suffering, and we are committed to driving change," he said.

The new alliance the trio decided to come together in an act of historic unity to declare a new path forward a Declaration for Change rooted in hope, responsibility, and transformation.
