KTR promises fair share for BCs in local body polls, slams Cong over industry exodus and corruption

BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) on Sunday reaffirmed his party's commitment to Bahujan empowerment, declaring that tickets for upcoming local body elections would be allotted proportionally to BCs.

“BRS is the only party that has delivered justice to BCs in the past and will continue to do so,” he said, speaking at a program in Parkal in the Warangal district where he distributed sewing machines and KCR Kits under the 'Gift A Smile’ initiative.

KTR pointed out that 58 per cent of the 55 MPTC seats in the Parakala constituency had already been given to BCs even before Revanth Reddy "woke up." Similarly, 49 per cent of sarpanch seats (49 out of 109), three out of six ZPTCs, and three MPP posts were allotted to Bahujans. “Only if BRS wins local body polls with massive majorities will Congress MLAs and ministers be grounded,” he said.
