Fight for Socio-Economic and Political Equality, Oppose Violence Against Women

Women must unite and rise against the growing influence of regressive ideologies being endorsed by the Centre, said Ustela Srujana, State President of the All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA), and Nethunoori Jyothi, State General Secretary.

They hoisted the AIDWA flag and addressed a gathering during the General Body Meeting of AIDWA's Devarakonda constituency unit, held at the Palla Parvath Reddy Bhavan on Tuesday. Speaking at the meeting presided over by Lingampalli Anita, Srujana and Jyothi criticized the Central Government for its contradictory stance while speaking of women's empowerment, it simultaneously supports Sanatana Dharma practices that weaken that very empowerment.
