Empower one crore women as crorepatis: Minister Seethakka to Collectors

Telangana Panchayati Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister, Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, has called on district Collectors to work with the goal of transforming one crore women into crorepatis through the Indira Mahila Shakti, the Chief Minister's flagship program aimed at women's economic empowerment.

Speaking during a video conference with Collectors from Secretariat on Monday, Minister Seethakka said that achieving the vision of "Telangana Rising 2047" is possible only by strengthening women's self-help groups (SHGs).
She urged officials to facilitate solar plant and petrol station ventures for women's groups by identifying suitable land and ensuring implementation starts immediately. Solar projects are to be launched on October 2, with agreements already in place with installation companies.
