In India National Doctor's Day is celebrated every year on July 1st.
It commemorates the birth and death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a legendary physician, freedom fighter, and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal.
Dr. B.C. Roy was known for his exceptional service in the medical field and for his contributions to the nation, both as a doctor and a leader.
Purpose of Doctor's Day:To acknowledge the selfless service of doctors in treating the sick and supporting public health.
