Distribution of Indiramma Housing Sanction Letters to 536 Chenchu Families in Amrabad Mandal

Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy (Minister for Revenue, Housing, Information & Public Relations) and Jupally Krishna Rao (Minister for Excise, Tourism & Culture) jointly stated that the dream of owning a house for tribal communities, especially the Chenchus, is being fulfilled through the Indiramma Housing Scheme, implemented under the leadership of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

On Monday, they launched the distribution of sanction letters for houses under the Indiramma Scheme to 536 Chenchu families from various villages in Achampet and Kollapur constituencies at a program held in Mannanur village, Amrabad Mandal, Nagarkurnool district. Present at the event were Nagarkurnool MLA Dr. Rajesh Reddy, Achampet MLA Dr. Vamshi Krishna, District Collector Badavath Santosh, and others.

The beneficiaries are from villages in the mandals of Amrabad (Mannanur, Macharam), Achampet (Akkaram, Chandapur, Pulithigalabanda, Ayyanole, Choutapally, Gunpanpally), Lingala (Lingala, Appayapally, Errapenta, Padmanpally, Vaddirayavaram, Daram, Surapur), Balmur (Billakal, Ambagiri, Chenchugudem, Balmur), Peddakothapally, Padara (Petrol Chenu, Chitlamkunta, Vankeshwaram, Maddimadugu, Pallerutpenta), and Kollapur (Narlapur, Amaragiri, Molachinthalapally, Yapatla, Dedinoonipally, Maredumandinne, Marikal).

Indiramma Housing as a Tool of Social Justice

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that the Telangana government is realizing the long-awaited dream of homeownership for the poor through the Indiramma Housing Scheme. He pointed out that the Chenchus, one of the most backward communities in society, were deprived of housing for decades. Now, their dream is coming true under the leadership of CM Revanth Reddy.
