DGP Shivadhar Reddy Flags Off Telangana’s Largest DSP Probationary Batch Urges officers to uphold the State Police’s top national standing

Telangana Director General of Police B. Shivadhar Reddy, IPS, inaugurated the Induction Training Programme for Probationary Deputy Superintendents of Police at the RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering, the DGP said that Telangana Police had earned the distinction of being the top police force in the country and urged the new probationary officers to take the responsibility of maintaining that stature.

Calling it the largest-ever batch of 112 probationary DSPs, including 38 women officers, the DGP said their 10-month training at the Academy would lay the foundation for their leadership journey. “This campus will instil discipline, punctuality, and a transformative outlook that will define your careers,” he said.
