CM Revanth Reddy directs speedy land Acquisition for RRR, highways

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy today instructed officials to expedite land acquisition and related works for key infrastructure projects, including the Regional Ring Road (RRR), radial roads, and national highways.

Reviewing the progress of ongoing projects at the Secretariat here, the Chief Minister stressed the need to complete pending land acquisition for the northern and southern parts of the RRR at the earliest.

He also reviewed the proposal for a greenfield highway from Hyderabad to Bandar Port, directing officials to finalise the route map and secure the Centre's approval without delay.

Reddy further suggested taking immediate steps to obtain permission from the Centre for the construction of an elevated corridor on the Hyderabad-Srisailam Highway.

During a video conference with Collectors of various districts, the Chief Minister instructed them to speed up the acquisition of land for national highway projects.
