Wheelie bin suspect abandons bail

A TAXI guard from Hanover Park accused of the murder of a Gugulethu woman has been sent to prison after abandoning his bail application at the Athlone Magistrate's Court.
Nizaam Caesar, 33, made his first appearance yesterday after being busted in Oribi Court on Monday night.
He is the fourth suspect and alleged member of the Hard Livings gang accused of being behind the horrific death of the woman who was strangled, set alight and dumped in a wheelie bin.
The horrific discovery was made on March 6 as commuters walking along Duinefontein Road saw the legs of the woman inside the bin as the rubbish was removed.
