“I KNOW there's no greater feeling than the love of the family.” Just reading that line probably brought the theme song of 7th Heaven back to your head, didn’t it?

That melody is still living rent-free in many of our memories.7th Heaven, which aired on SABC 2 at the time, was the after-school comfort show for a whole generation.

The series ran for an impressive 11 seasons since it first aired in 1996, making it the longest-running family drama in television history at the time.

It followed the lives of the Camden family, headed by a minister father and his loving, no-nonsense wife, as they raised their seven children through all the trials and moral lessons of growing up.
