HARRIS IS RELISHING FESTIVE GAMES DESPITE NUMBER OF MATCHES

- By DANIEL NEWBOULD

CAMBRIDGE United boss Neil Harris admits the Christmas schedule is "absolute madness" but says his players are ready and raring to go.

They come into it in good form having seen off Accrington Stanley 2-0 last Friday night after a spell of recent draws, and will be hoping to continue that run today against Gareth Ainsworth's Gillingham, who are also pushing for a League Two playoff spot.

Harris analysed: "It's going to be busy. The Christmas period is slightly different for us to most people's. People that work in public services, like the NHS for example, their schedules are madness and I'm such a fan of that but we are in a similar sort of position. We have to work.
