CAMBRIDGESHIRE Police has issued a warning to locals after a series of distraction burglaries, which have been reported in and around Cambridge.

Residents have reported criminals offering massages or pretending to be care workers.

At around 5.30pm last Friday (September 19), two women knocked on the door of a property in Station Road, Great Shelford. They offered massages to help back, knee and leg pain, specifically for elderly, disabled and vulnerable people.

One of these women walked into the front room and told the victim she was there to massage her. The victim told her to leave.
