Reach agreement on foreign exchange deal, says Seoul
South Korea cannot providethe US with $350 billion incash as suggested by Washington under a deal to lower tariffs, a senior official said.
“Our position is not anegotiating tactic,” National Security Adviser WiSung-lac said. “Itis objectively and realistically notalevel we are able to handle,” he added. “Weare notable to pay $350 billion in cash.”
