Robinson: 'Club has a special place in my heart'

FLEUR Robinson is to step down as Burton Albion's chief executive officer after less than a year in post.

The daughter of former owner and current honorary chairman Ben Robinson, she has been involved with the club in two spells since 1994 and was previously commercial director.

She left that post to join Wrexham as chief executive and spent three years there as the newly American-owned Welsh club was modernised and began an ongoing journey up the football pyramid.

She returned to the Pirelli last year as chief executive when the Nordic Football Group bought the club from her father.
