Ladies make point against in-form Ashbourne

HOCKEY: Burton Ladies firsts claimed a 0-0 draw against unbeaten Ashbourne.

Ashbourne started as they meant to go on, with quick, hard passes around the Burton ladies. Burton, though, soon settled in to the game much quicker because of this and reacted to the immediate pressure.

For the full 70 minutes, the entirety of both the Burton and Ashbourne ladies put in an absolute mammoth of a battle to try to be the first ones to get the one goal brewing as it was very apparent this game was going to be ending by the finest margins.
