EUSTACE HOPING STRIKER NOT OUT FOR THE SEASON

- By LEIGH CURTIS

DERBY County have been rocked by the news that top scorer Carlton Morris faces the next two to three months on the sidelines.

Morris missed Tuesday night's 2-1 away win over Swansea City having limped off against Watford on Saturday after only 18 minutes.

Derby are still waiting for the final results from the scan which should be available later this week. But Rams head coach John Eustace anticipates that Morris will be out until February/March time and he hopes that the striker is not out for the season.

“The final results aren’t in yet,” said Eustace.

“It’s going to take at least two to three months, which is a blow, and, hopefully, we can get him right for February/March time.

“That's me being optimistic but we will have to wait and see.

“We will know exactly where he is before the weekend but it’s not as bad as what we first thought.
