Eustace: Trio need to adapt as Rams find feet

JOHN Eustace says Derby County trio Patrick Agyemang, Bobby Clark and Max Johnston are having to adapt to the demands of the Championship after their transfers this summer.

The trio all joined the club as part of a major overhaul of the squad as the Rams signed 13 players, while 13 were allowed to leave in a busy summer.

But it is the first time that Clark, Johnston and Agyemang have experienced the second tier, which many pundits describe as one of the toughest leagues in Europe.

Head coach Eustace says that while the Rams are trying to find their rhythm, with players also having to learn about the division, he has been encouraged by their ability to pick up points.

"When you're not playing as well as you should be, and we're still trying to find that formula, and we're still getting players fit, I think the most important thing is you're picking points up while doing that," said Eustace.
