Awards ceremony held to recognise students who went 'above and beyond'

COLLEGE REWARDS LEARNERS FOR 'EXCEPTIONAL' RESULTS LAST YEAR
TALENTED students have been recognised for their hard work at Burton and South Derbyshire College's Further Education and Apprenticeship awards ceremony.
Held on Thursday, June 19, at Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium, the event celebrated the skills and qualifications achieved by students in the past academic year.
The evening culminated in the presentation of three of the college's highest honours celebrating the exceptional achievements of this year's learners.
The overall Further Education Learner of the Year Award for 2025 was presented to carpentry student Laci Trotter, whose “dedication, craftsmanship and consistently outstanding work have set a powerful example for peers and tutors alike”.
