Rugby French clubs reportedly interested in Bristol's Elizalde

BRISTOL Bears' fullback Benjamin Elizalde is reported to be attracting the attention of recruitment teams from several French Top 14 clubs, having been marked out as one to watch by Argentina head coach Felipe Contepomi.

Over the summer, Elizalde became a senior international for the Pumas, earning four caps, all at fullback, since making his debut against England back in July.

While the Bears man is a long way off dislodging Santi Carreras from the 15 jersey at international level, at just 21 years old, he has become a long-term development project for Contepomi.
