Scott Twine moves in to challenge Leicester's Abdul Fatawu
City came from two goals down to secure a dramatic draw against Leicester City at Ashton Gate last night, with second-half goals from Mark Sykes and Emil Riis enough to secure a point. The Robins left themselves with a mountain to climb as a flat opening 45 minutes ended with the Foxes comfortably ahead. First-half goals from Jordan Ayew and Bobby De Cordova-Reid led to sections of BS3 booing Gerhard Struber’s side as they made their way back down the tunnel at the break.
However, an excellent second period from those in red and white ended with the Robins perhaps unfortunate not to win. Sykes turned home from close range early in the half, while Riis headed in his sixth of the campaign with less than 10 minutes to play.
