Plans Developer hopes to build 63 extra homes at Temple Quarter site

A DECISION is due next week on permitting plans to build hundreds of flats on an old industrial site. Developers are hoping that Bristol City Council will grant them permission for the Iron Works development on Silverthorne Lane with 63 more apartments than previously planned.
Three years ago planning permission was granted for 371 homes, offices, restaurants and cafes on plots two and three of the wider Silverthorne Lane development that also includes a secondary school and student flats.
Now Studio Hive is applying for permission to change the plans for plots two and three, increasing the number of homes from 371 to 434 instead.
