BRISTOL Rovers goalkeeper Luke Southwood has been called up to Northern Ireland's latest squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Michael O'Neill's side will travel to Luxembourg (September 4) before hosting Germany (September 7) in their first two matches on the road to qualification for next summer's World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Northern Ireland are in Group A with Slovakia the fourth nation in their group.

None of the teams have begun their qualification campaign yet, with fixtures set to be played out over the September, October and November international camps.
