|November 24, 2025
CLEVEDON Town’s Jewson League Premier Division title charge is firmly back on course following a 3-1 home win against Helston Athletic.
The Cornish side took the lead, but Sam Beresford equalised before halftime and went on to complete a hat-trick for the Seasiders, who are four points clear of closest challengers Sidmouth Town at the top.
Fourth-placed Paulton Rovers boosted their promotion bid with a 5-1 home win against St Blazey, having been 2-1 up at the break.
Kitan Jaiyeoba hit a hat-trick, and the other Paulton goals came form Kailan Gould, who scored a fifth-minute opener, and Chris Peck.
Jay Malpas gave Brislington the lead against Banstaple Town at Ironmould Lane, but the Devon visitors drew level before halftime and ended up 4-1 victors.
Oldland Abbotonians’ game at Ivybridge Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
