CLEVEDON Town went top of the Jewson League Premier Division with a 3-1 home success against Newquay, which made it six wins from six for the Seasiders.

- Mark EASTERBROOK

Two goals from Callum Eastwood in the opening 11 minutes set Clevedon on the way to another three points, and although the visitors pulled a goal back before the break, a goalkeeper error allowed Seb Scott to score the third on 69 minutes.

Brislington pulled off a superb 5-3 home win against Bridgwater United, having been 2-0 up inside four minutes and 4-2 ahead at halftime. Ben Bament struck to give Bridgwater hope on 73 minutes, but Lee Lashenko's side had Dan Dodimead sent off 10 minutes later and a fifth Bris goal sealed victory.

Oldland Abbotonians gained their second win of the season with a 5-0 home hammering of bottom side AFC St Austell.

Mason Davis opened the scoring shortly before halftime, and he grabbed a second after the break. Cash Vinall, Neikell Plummer and Jacob Saunders were also on target for Oldland.
