Hotel with a homely feeling
Bristol Post

Compared to other hotels, the Artist Residence certainly has a homely feeling and I loved the bohemian style throughout. From the small details to the bigger picture, it is obvious a lot of thought has gone into creating the space.

The bathroom in the room
Arriving at about 6pm, we started by settling in our room for the night. The room is a good size, with plenty of room to move about, and I have to admit I immediately fell in love with the bathroom; I have to check out that huge clawfoot bath, I told myself.
But first it was time to eat. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy at about 6.30pm, but I expect it may be rather different on a Friday night and over the weekend. There were enough of us to give it some atmosphere though - including some people on their own, couples and one or two groups.
We started our meal with a couple of cocktails; I went for a glass slipper - which had gin, yuzu sherbet, lemon, orange bitters and prosecco - while my partner had the pineapple highball - which consists of rum, sherry, lime, thyme and roasted pineapple. They were very different to each other, but equally delicious.
