Have a cracking Easter break

The Easter holidays run until April 21 this year, with Good Friday falling on April 18 and Easter Monday on April 21. Families can take part in Easter trails, festivals, dance parties, fairs and more this year.

We've compiled a list of some of the events, holiday activities, and the like that you can sink your teeth into among all of that chocolate.

All information is correct at time of writing but is subject to change.

WONDERFUL WATER FESTIVAL AT SPARKS

When: Until Saturday, April 19

Where: Sparks Bristol

The Wonderful Water Festival will be a free celebration of “the power of water to sustain life and inspire creativity.”

It will be held at Sparks Bristol in Broadmead which will be transformed into a hub of activity and promises an eclectic programme for all ages, including craft workshops, interactive experiments, dance performances, talks and exhibitions.

Throughout the festival, visitors can take part in a series of free hands-on workshops.

Tomorrow (April 12), the festival will present an imaginative dance production suitable for children aged two to eight. Two 45-minute workshops will take place at 2pm and 3.30pm, with booking recommended.

Visitors can also expect surprise street performances from aquaticthemed characters, including mermaid and deep sea divers. Find out more and book your tickets at https://sparksbristol.co.uk/eventtype/discovery/
