Football Gas welcome ‘pacey, aggressive’ striker

NEW Bristol Rovers striker Fabrizio Cavegn has said he is “very excited” after completing his move to the Gas from Swiss second division side FC Vaduz on a three -year deal with the option of a further year for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.

The 22-year-old Swiss is Rovers’ ninth signing of the summer and the second attacking addition over the past week, following the return of academy graduate Ellis Harrison on Tuesday.

Described as a “versatile attacker with an eye for a finish,’ the new recruit has also represented Switzerland at Under-21s level.

Speaking to club media, Cavegn said: “It’s a good feeling to join Bristol Rovers. I am very excited to come here and I am also very happy. I have met the people here at the club, and they are very good people, so Iam happy to be here.
