BRISTOL International Balloon Fiesta starts tomorrow and many of us will be looking forward to either venturing to Ashton Court Estate to watch more than 100 hot air balloons take to the skies across six mass ascents, or finding the perfect balloon-spotting location to relax and await their arrival as they fly overhead.

But as many a fiesta-goer will know by now this all depends on the weather. Although forecasts can change, we've compiled a little guide to consider just what conditions to look out for this weekend. It’s worth noting though, that this year sees even more attractions to get involved with at the fiesta that aren't so dependent on the weather - from jumping in a basket and having a go on the burners, to walking inside an inflated balloon envelope.
