Consultation starts on plans for new reservoir

A CONSULTATION over plans to create a second reservoir at Cheddar began yesterday.
-
It would be responsible for transferring millions of litres of water to customers across the West each day during peak months - improving the region’s resilience against future uncertainties, from big drought events to small short-term supply issues. Permission was granted for second reservoir in 2014 but has since lapsed.
